Job Description:

 

Summary/Objective:

The Thumb Cellular Float Billing/Customer Care Representative is responsible for acting as a liaison between Thumb Cellular customers and the company.  The position requires working with the public to assist with sales, complaints, errors, account questions, billing, cancellations and other inquiries.

 

Essential Functions:

  1. Provide excellent customer service to existing and new customers via the phone as well as in person.
  2. Float to various Thumb Cellular offices to assist with Customer Care Representative responsibilities as needed.
  3. Assist new and existing customers with account setup, activations and adjustments.
  4. Responsible for demonstrating product and accessory functionality of devices to customers.
  5. Assist customers with cellular device inquires, ESN changes (upgrades), repairs, accessories, lease and demo devices.
  6. Answer customer questions about their account, including but not limited to, billing concerns, cancellations, usage and disconnections.
  7. Review/Research revenue assurance reports as required.
  8. Maintain knowledge of manual switch interface and other provisioning tools.
  9. Document customer interactions and adjustments in customer account records.
  10. At all times, follow all CPNI and Red Flag regulations.
  11. Behave in a professional manner with customer and co-workers.
  12. Perform job duties within Company health and safety requirements.

 

Qualifications:

  1. High School diploma or GED required.
  2. Possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  3. Previous customer service experience desired.
  4. Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  5. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail.

 

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Travel Requirements:

Travel between offices will be required.

 

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment.

 

Expected Hours of Work:

Hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with some Saturday hours.
