Wireless Connection Setup Windows XP...
Click the Start
button and select Control Panel
Windows XP gives you
the option to view the Control Panel in "Category View" or "Classic
View".
Click on "Switch to Classic View". It's on the left side of the
Control Panel. If it says "Switch to Category View", don't click,
you are already in Classic View.
Click on Network
Connections icon.
The Network
Connections window appears.
Right-Click the
Local Area Connection icon and select Properties from the
menu.
General Tab:
TCP/IP Properties
In the Local Area
Connection Properties double-click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
to view and modify IP, DNS, and Gateway settings.
Click the OK
button to close the window. Close any remaining windows and open
Internet Explorer to test your connection.

Click the Start
button, Settings and select Control Panel
Click on the
Network icon.
Select TCP/IP in the
list, then click the Properties button.
Click OK to continue
if prompted.
Type in your IP
Address & Subnet Mask, Gateway, & DNS
numbers.
Click the OK
button to close the window. Close any remaining windows and open
Internet Explorer to test your connection.
