First click on the window’s Start button and then click Run and type inetwiz in the open text box. Now click the OK button. (This will start the Internet Setup Wizard and help you to connect to AVCI)

Step 1. Place a dot by connect using my phone line and click Next.

{Skip this step if you are using Windows 98 and continue with Step 3}

Step 2. Place a dot next to Create a new dial-up connection and click Next.

{If prompted, enter in the appropriate location information and make sure you have tone dialing marked and click Close.}

Step 3. In this screen you will need to enter your local access number.  Make sure to uncheck "Dial using the area code and country code" or “Use area code and dialing rules” and then click Next.

Step 4. Now enter your username and password. Type both in lower case letters. Your username does NOT include the @avci.net.  Make sure there are no spaces before, or after your entry and then click Next.

Step 5. If prompted to change the advanced settings choose No and click Next. The wizard will then ask you for a connection name. Enter AVCI as the connection name and click Next.

Step 6. Select the NO option to set up your email account if you wish to use webmail then skip to step 14.
If you wish to setup Outlook Express with your AVCI email address, select YES.  Click the Next button to continue.

{Windows 2000 or XP users should skip ahead to step 13}

Step 11. You will now be asked for a Friendly Name for your e-mail server. In the field provided enter avsin.avci.net and click Next.

Step 12. When asked if you wish to setup an Internet news account now, select No and click Next.

Step 13. When asked if you want to setup an Internet Directory service select No and click Next.
